Senior Software Engineer

Reports to: Team Lead/ Software Architect

Qualifications Required:

Education: Relevant degree in software engineering fields; training in principles and techniques of software development.

Experience: 5-8 years of relevant software architecture, software development and software testing experience.

Skills:
  • Strong technical skills in .Net, C#, VB, SQL Server 2008, Oracle, AJAX, Web Services.
  • Strong English reading and writing communication skills, with an ability to express and understand complex technical concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to work in teams and has strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with clients and travel to project sites.
  • Possess good organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a moderate group of software engineers and also able to work independently.
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions.

Responsibilities: Responsible for software development activities throughout the project, including key phases of process such as development, testing, implementation.

Technical Lead

Reports to: Project Manager/Software Architect

Qualifications Required:

Education: Relevant degree in software engineering fields; training in principles and techniques of software development.

Experience: 10+ years of relevant software architecture, software development, software testing experience, and project leadership/management experience.

Skills:
  • Strong technical skills in .Net, C#, SQL Server 2008, Oracle, AJAX, Web Services.
  • Strong English reading and writing communication skills, with an ability to express and understand complex technical concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

Technical Support (L1)

Reports to: Team Lead

Qualifications Required:

Education: BE/Bsc. IT/BCA/MCA.

Experience: Candidate should be Fresher / Technical experience with 1-2 year for Support

Skills:
  • Deployment of approved changes, patches and bug fixes as instructed by L2 & L3 Administrators.
  • Tracking, reporting and building up of knowledge base for various types of incidents.
  • Tracking and checking for pending issue status and taking an action accordingly.
  • Providing the data from backend based on the client requirement.
  • Troubleshooting - Functional Troubleshooting.
  • To debug the reported case in UAT and share the Issue, Observation, solution to development team.
  • Installation/ Hosting of Application - LIVE/UAT.
  • URL/Site issues.
  • Login/User Creation Issues.
  • To check the prerequisites for the new server and host the site on the application server
  • Maintaining Knowledge Base Central Repository
  • To attend the phone calls with the end user for clarification of information in regards to functionality or other queries.
  • Keep Updating the log sheet for all the cases, queries raised by the client via mail and submitting it Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting.

Responsibilities: To Provide L1 support on process and products and to ensure a professional and consistent delivery of quality service to operation team and achievement of operational targets and manage workload

Other: Should have ability to manage difficult customer situations, to respond promptly to the needs of the customer, respond to requests for service/assistance.

Technical Support (L2)

Reports to: Team Lead

Qualifications Required:

Education: BE/Bsc. IT/BCA/MCA.

Experience: Candidate should be 2-3 yrs experience in Technical Support.

Skills:
  • Experience in Dot Net MVC/WCF, SQL server 2008, Oracle 10G.
  • Deployment of approved changes, patches and bug fixes as instructed by L3 Administrators.
  • Tracking, reporting and building up of knowledge base for various types of incidents.
  • Tracking and checking for pending issue status and taking an action accordingly.
  • To attend each mail received by the client and revert with functional or technical resolution.
  • To attend the phone calls with the end user for clarification of information in regards to functionality or other queries.
  • Keep Updating the log sheet for all the cases, queries raised by the client via mail and submitting it Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting.
  • Need to take care of Data movement or purging activity raised by the Bank-IT.
  • Handle the critical issues reported by the user and close the same within a given TAT also submit the RCA if requested by the client.
  • Handling support for Production systems with the ability to communicate / interact with the customers, quick trouble shooting and means of meeting to meet the SLA.
  • Disaster Recovery support.
  • To provide the necessary application training to L1 resource and monitor the activities performed by the junior resource periodically.

Qualifications Required:

Experience: Candidate should be 4-5 yrs experience in Technical Support.

Skills:
  • Experience in Dot Net MVC/WCF, SQL server 2008, Oracle 10G.
  • Monitor all the issue/task are attended and closed with given SLA.
  • Tracking, reporting and building up of knowledge base for various types of incidents.
  • Monitor and keep track of all document prepared by L1 & L2 for all resolution activities, communication related to support request/Incidents in the respective repository.
  • Prepare monthly consolidate log sheet and attendance report for the team.
  • Co-ordination with Bank IT for critical/escalated issue, Bank DBA Team and OS Team as and when required.
  • Excellent knowledge on troubleshooting application level critical issues.
  • Lead the team smartly, actively and get the work done without any escalations.
  • To motivate the team to complete the task and learn new things to improve the knowledge for better support.
  • Necessary action need to be taken for the escalated mails or calls.
  • Knowledge on troubleshooting application level critical issues, proactive monitoring, change management, problem management.
